Description

Having recently completed a 3+ year and $4 million + authentic restoration, the 80' Trumpy motor yacht TIMELESS has returned to her original 1947 splendor. Understatedly called a “houseboat" by her designers because the yachts offered her owners all the comforts & amenities of home, Trumpy was considered the Rolls-Royce of American Yachting. Known for their meticulous craftsmanship owners of Trumpy yachts included the likes of Howard Hughes, the Guggenheims, Dupont's, Chrysler& Dodge families. TIMELESS has generous walk-around decks and high stations with varnished teak cap rails. The aft deck has a large custom built varnished teak oval dining table which offers spacious seating for 8, with a curved banquette aft and 4 sturdy mid-century teak dining chairs. The “card room" - which doubled as the original owner's office, is located forward. The card room offers great views while underway or at anchor and is a wonderful space with a cozy settee aft, and a forward ¾ day bed for sleeping an additional guest. The opening windows have custom wood venetian blinds and port and starboard doors provide excellent natural cross ventilation for an alternative to the yacht's new air conditioning system. The foredeck is graced by a large centerline sliding teak hatch for deck access to crew quarters & galley. Master Stateroom: The beautifully appointed master stateroom is located aft and features a queen size centerline berth with original framed mirror above and flanked by matching dressers with generous drawers on either side. A large flat-screen television is hidden when not in use. There are 2 large hanging lockers and a 3rd with deep shelves. Period bedside reading lamps are located on either side of the mirrors with easily accessible controls. Twin bench seats offer additional storage. There is individual air conditioning control and the ports have restored original hand-crafted varnished teak shutters to darken the cabin for a restful night's sleep. The en suite bathroom features a teak and holly sole with a large washbasin, lighted storage, a large, tiled stall shower with seat and a Tecma fresh water flush head and traditional mirrored “medicine cabinet" that is original to the yacht. VIP Guest Cabin: Exiting the master stateroom, the starboard VIP guest cabin has a walk-around queen bed and a large bathroom that can be accessed through the cabin or via the hallway. There are two large dressers, generous hanging lockers, period lighting, ports with sliding room-darkening varnished teak shutters and private climate controls. The ensuite bath has a teak & holly sole, a large, tiled stall shower with teak grating, porcelain sink with mirrored original medicine cabinet, and Tecma fresh water flush head (toilet). Guest Cabin 3: opposite the VIP cabin is the 3rd guest cabin that has been nick-named the “Nanny Cabin" -- as it has a lower double bed and upper single bed, a large hanging locker and generous dresser and the en suite bathroom is what is referred to as a “wet head" because it has an integral shower. The teak-grated flooring speeds drying after a shower and there is a sink with original mirrored medicine cabinet. The Nanny Cabin has air conditioning controls and ports with sliding room-darkening varnished teak shutters. Built in the era when a game of bridge was a favorite past-time there is a “card room" forward on the main deck that has a day bed which can sleep a 7th guest. There is a day head in the salon with toilet & sink. Crew quarters are forward of the galley & completely separate from the guest areas, with private crew head & shower.

Excellent service! Booked a catamaran charter in the BVIs for two weeks with the wife back in May. Loved every minute! hoping to go back next year.

Our yacht experience was the absolute best. We had a great time! The crew knew all our preferences ahead of time and were very flexible with any changes.

Code Zero was organized, helpful, and always responsive no matter what time. We would highly recommend them in order to make your yacht experience flawless.

This was my first charter and Joss helped me from start to finish, super fast communication and was always available with round the clock support which made this a first class experience for me. I was provided with a great variety of boats and we chartered a 50ft catamaran in the Exumas, Bahamas with a first class crew, the most fantastic food provided, great water sports - absolutely faultless!  I've booked my next trip with Code Zero Yachts in Greece and I can't recommend highly enough. Thank you Joss!
